2.Gelatinization: Put the gelatin in the shape of solid particles into the gelatinization tank. Use the method of vacuum suction to add pure water and heat it to melt it into a gelatin solution with an appropriate viscosity, which is then used for tablet pressing production. To ensure quality, filtration must be carried out during the production process, and the viscosity of the gelatin solution should be regularly detected.

3.Pill making: Transport the prepared raw materials and rubber sheets to the pill making production line to make pills. The process of making pills is that there is a rubber sheet at each end of the machine, and they gradually move closer together. When they are about to meet, a small pipeline at the top starts to inject a preset dose of raw materials. Then, through the action of the mold and pressure, the raw materials are wrapped in the rubber sheet and then taken out. This process is a bit similar to making dumplings.

4.During the production of the pills, the newly formed soft pills need to be air-dried in the drying chamber to set their shape. Usually, a scientific three-stage drying process of low temperature, high temperature, and low temperature is adopted, which significantly improves the drying efficiency.

5.Screening: Select the dried soft capsules and remove the problematic capsules.

The soft capsule contract processing technology is a technology for making soft capsules from raw materials such as oils and traditional Chinese medicine extracts. Although soft capsules are usually transparent, not all of them are. The appearance of soft capsules depends on the nature of their fillers. If the filler is an oil with good color and clarity, transparent soft capsules are a better choice because they have a clear appearance and good reflectivity, which is more aesthetically pleasing. However, if the filler contains traditional Chinese medicine extracts or powder substances, it needs to be processed through an emulsification process to make the raw materials in a mixed state. Such soft capsules need to be made opaque, mainly for light shielding.
